Gather necessary info and go to www.fafsa.gov to apply.

FAFSA determines eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aid (grants, loans, work-study).

Apply early and check deadlines for each school. FAFSA opens October 1st.

You’ll receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) in 7 - 12 business days. Make corrections if needed.

Some schools may request verification—submit forms quickly.

Accepted students will get Award Letters outlining their financial aid package (grants, scholarships, work-study, loans).
